Pickett's Place on the Ridge: Delightful American Breakfast & Fresh Salads in North Ridgeville

This place is great. Have gone a few times now. Food is always good and fast. The younger male waiter is super kind and attentive. Prices are good. A few large TV with sports above the bar.

I have been up to Ohio from Texas for 9 days over the last month and have stopped in for breakfast about 5 times during my visits. Most times I have come in, I have had a VERY kind and friendly young man named Austin waiting on me. He deserves a raise! He always asks if I need anything, brings me large to-go cups of coffee. (which is AMAZING by the way) He is always ready for a pleasant chat and seems to have a genuine love and passion for serving the customers. The food here is AMAZING. I have been to a lot of breakfast locations in Ohio AND Texas. Pickett’s place is by far the BEST breakfast establishment I have ever eaten at. The atmosphere is very welcoming and the food is PERFECT and it is brought out hot and DELICIOUS in a very short amount of time. It’s good ole down home, fresh cooking. If you are looking for a place to stop by in your travels or you live in the beautiful city of North Ridgeville and are looking for what feels like a home cooked meal in an establishment that makes you feel like family, look no further.

We had such a wonderful experience here! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and relaxing, the kind of place that instantly makes you feel comfortable. The restaurant was clean, beautifully set up, and had a great vibe that made the whole meal even more enjoyable. Our waiter was absolutely fantastic, friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind. He made sure we had everything we needed without ever being intrusive, and his positive attitude really stood out. It’s rare these days to find service that feels so sincere and thoughtful. The combination of great service and a great atmosphere made this visit truly memorable. We left feeling happy, relaxed, and already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a place with both great people and a great environment!

Came for breakfast. It's a nice family atmosphere. Amy was our waitress and she did a nice job taking care of us. Food is good for the price.

This is a great breakfast place that doesn’t get as crowded as most other diners. Now that I’m retired I’m able to come here during the week. I usually order the Turkey club wrap (pictured). The coffee is among the best around. The servers are very good. We usually have Tammy who’s a real pro. Austin is great too. You can see him helping the older folks get around when no one else is looking. A really special young man. If you haven’t been here, give them a try.

Greeted us walking in, very friendly staff. And our waitress provided us with great service too. My husband had the Brunch Burger and I ordered the Mediterranean Scramble, minus olives. It was delicious! They have a full menu with all the options, priced nicely. Fun, clean, diner atmosphere, you can even sit at their counter if you'd like. Only took 1 picture. Sorry. But I had to "dig in" when I saw my Scramble. Definitely going back!

I have had nothing but great experiences here! I come often and always get the French toast. Food is always fresh and consistent! Very cute and cozy atmosphere that always feels welcoming. They’ve also added a new bar for more seating that’s really nice as you can see in the photo! I also really liked to see the improvements on the new menu which looks organized and more detailed. Menu still includes their low prices compared to other similar spots. I always have great service here. I always ask for Austin! Can't recommend it enough!

Sometimes food isn’t sexy and the pictures don’t convey how tasty the meal was. This sausage gravy with biscuits is by far my favorite breakfast best bite! Gravy is just thick enough, just enough sausage and a pinch of red pepper flakes to give kick at the end. The French toast is textbook good. The bacon planked to perfection. We have been going to Kim’s for 20 plus years. Ownership is amazing and the home style food never fails. Support local business.
